NFSN looking forward to welcoming speakers & attendees to Ireland’s first 5-Step Method conference.


The National Family Support Network will host Ireland’s first ever 5-Step method conference tomorrow at Croke Park from 9.30am and will feature key note speeches from the Department of Health’s Susan Scally, Professor Richard Velleman from the Addiction and the Family International Network (AFINet-UK) who first pioneered the 5-Step method as well as Health Development Specialist Ed Sipler who will talk about the use of the 5-Step Method and Young people.

The 5-Step Method Conference will offer attendees the opportunity to learn more about the 5-Step Method and reflect on the work completed in Ireland to date. Conference participants will also be able to attend 5-Step Method workshops on topics such as general counselling, young people and self-assessment. Registration for these workshops will be from 9.30- 10am.

The NFSN would encourage all attendees to plan their journey carefully.  If you are travelling to the conference by car complimentary parking is available in the Canal Car Park. This is located off the North Circular Road and accessed via St. Margaret's Avenue (first left after Gills Pub on the corner of North Circular Road and Russell Street). Pedestrian access is from the car park onto Jones' Road to the main entrance for the Hogan Stand.
