NATIONAL FAMILY SUPPORT NETWORKSUPPORTING FAMILY MEMBERS LIVING WITH SUBSTANCE MISUSE

FREE SERVICE - BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT PROGRAMME

The National Family Support Network's run a Bereavement Support Programme, the next programme is scheduled to begin in September 2017.  The programme will run for 8 sessions every Thursday evening at 7:00pm in the NFSN offices in 5 Gardiner Row, Dublin 1.

The programme is designed for family members who have lost a loved one through drug or alcohol use or related causes.  Losing someone or something you love or care deeply about is very painful.  With substance misuse the loss is a multiple process.  Grieving is a personal and highly individual experience. How you grieve depends on many factors, including your personaility and coping style, your life experience, your faith and the nature of your loss. This interactive programme will be a safe space for you to examine and share how you feel about your loss, it will help you explore your beliefs about grief and will guide you in completing a set of actions that will enable you to move forward in your life with hope.  It will show you how to identify past losses, find out what's incomplete and teach you how to achieve completion regarding these losses, enabling you to lead a complete, peaceful & happier life.

If you would like to register to take part in the next programme please contact us by calling 01 - 898 0148 or emailing info@fsn.ie
