NATIONAL FAMILY SUPPORT NETWORKSUPPORTING FAMILY MEMBERS LIVING WITH SUBSTANCE MISUSE
COMING SOON: 5 Step Method Conference November 2014
The 5-Step Method Conference will be held on Tuesday the 11th of Novemeber 2014 from 09.30 - 16.00 in the Croke Park Conference Suite (Hogan Suite)
The Conference will offer attendees the opportunity to learn more about the 5-Step Method and reflect on the work completed in Ireland to date. The conference will provide a forum to discuss the framework developed to roll-out the 5-Step Method, how this framework is ground-breaking, generalisable to other places / countries, and how it acts to empower countries / organisations so that they take control of their training and quality assurance agenda rather than relying on external experts to do so. The conference will also feature contributions from practitioners with expertise in working with children and young people affected by parental substance misuse and/or mental health difficulties. Finally the conference will also offer the opportunity for delegates to participate in skills based workshops relating to the 5-Step Method.
