The FSN Annual Work Conference brings together members of family support groups and individual family members living with drug use living on the island of Ireland. Over 350 family members attend on an annual basis. The purpose of the Conference is to provide an opportunity for family members to discuss and inform themselves on the different issues affecting their lives as a result of drug use.

The schedule for this year's Conference is currently being finalised but will include discussion of national policy developments and training workshops. A key element of the Conference is also that it provides respite for family members and this is supported by family members volunteering their time to provide holistic therapies. If you would like to volunteer to provide holistic therapies during the Conference please call Megan on (01) 8365 168.

One Day Information Sessions on the Good Practice Guidelines for Peer Led Family Support Groups (Information Flyer)

In order to support facilitators of family support groups and key personnel involved in the delivery of family support to engage with the guidelines we have designed a one day information session on some of the topics featured in the guidelines. The dates are arranged so that facilitators and workers in in specific areas attend the same sessions. Please register for the information day in line with where your group / organisation is located. North East Region: Thursday, 26th August in Carrickmacross Workhouse, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan


Western Region: Thursday, 2nd September, The Business Centre, Dalton Street, Claremorris, Co. Mayo.
